Maths Links for Primary Schools has been researched and designed by Calypso Web Creations on the request of the Headteacher of Chantry Primary School Bexhill, East Sussex.

Calypso Web Creations is web design company which is run by Jan Butler, a qualified Primary School Teacher

Jan was asked to find websites which could be accessed at home by Primary age children.This website is the result of that research.

Jan has taught both in East Sussex and abroad for more than 25 years and is a very experienced teacher. She has been a Senior Manager and a Maths
Co-ordinator.

She recently took time out of teaching to obtain a Masters degree in Information Systems. She wrote a dissertation about the use of technology in schools.

The websites included in this site have all been researched and tried out. The only sites included are the ones which are felt to be useful in the Primary classroom or for home use.

Jan hopes that this site is a useful resource for Primary teachers and children. Many of the Maths portals are not geared up specifically to Primary schools. Hopefully this fills the gap.
